Sachin Kr Makhija is a certified SCRUM Master, ISTQB, DB2, and PeopleSoft HCM Certified Tester with over 14 years of relevant experience in software testing. As a Technical Expert at Landis+Gyr, Sachin has a wealth of experience in Smart Metering & Smart Grids, PeopleSoft, Telecom, Android and iOS, Cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Sachin is a passionate and highly motivated software tester with lead experience, who can guide, influence and improve the testing processes and activities at the team level as well as companywide. He has a strong appreciation for test design and approach and the ability to apply these principles with confidence whilst relishing getting his hands dirty with actual testing. Critical thinking, observation, idea generation, reporting, exploration, experimentation are his key skills. As a lead tester, he guides and influences the testing on a team. He can perform strategic and tactical planning of test activities to support the project goals, reporting to the project manager as well as supporting, encouraging and coaching other testers to develop in their testing career. He leads by example, promoting appropriate and deliberate testing skills and techniques. Sachin's past experience includes working as a Technical Lead-SQA and Senior SQA Engineer at Landis+Gyr. As a Technical Lead-SQA, he organized and facilitated daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings. He worked collaboratively with Product Owners, cross-functional development teams, and other Scrum Masters to support development and software delivery. Sachin holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Maharshi Dayanand University and has completed a CSM training Workshop Program from Scrum Alliance. His technical expertise includes test, Android, iOS, infra, Senior Software Engineer, and QA.
